BILLIE & ROSE

The series (8x13'), produced by La Belle Télé follows two young sisters. Siblings Billie and Rose kidnap their dad the day he gets out of prison. For the last ten years, the two girls have grown up in two radically different foster families; it's time for their father to pay for his past mistakes! The two contrasting sisters team up and, with the law on their tails, take the road in an RV to find the heritage they're entitled to: the loot their father carefully hid before being sent behind bars.
In the course of this obstacle-ridden "road trip", they unearth something way more precious: a father's love and a closeness unfelt in years.

 

VORTEX

The crime thriller mini-series with a touch of fantasy produced by  Quad Drama for France 2 (6x52') was written based on an idea from best-selling author Frank Thilliez.
It's the year 2025. Ludovic is the police captain for the French city of Brest. Twenty-seven years prior, he lost the love of his life, Mélanie, in what looked like a tragic accident. But while studying a reconstructed VR crime scene, he stumbles upon a time warp that turns his life upside down: thanks to a glitch, he's able to communicate with Mélanie, just a few days before her death, in 1998. Moving heaven and earth to try and save her from her tragic fate by stopping her murderer, Ludovic is in danger of losing his own life in the present along with his wife Parvana and their son Sam.

 

LOVE (AND TROUBLE) IN PARIS

The series (6x52'), produced by PMSA for France 2 focuses on love stories through several characters, men and women.
Jul, aged 36, feels her life is over: having recently been dumped by her boyfriend and fired by her bodd, she needs to find a roommate or she'll get thrown out of her Paris apartment by her landlord! But things take an unexpected turn when, while on a taxi ride back from her sister's wedding, she finds a lost phone, complete with the most gorgeous marriage proposal text message you could ever dream of! Blown away by this declaration of love meant for another, Jul, along with her accomplices, besties Ava and Manon, decides to keep the lucky woman/rightful phone owner in the dark and embark on the adventure of a lifetime: to find, seduce and marry this perfect specimen of a man! The documentary (1x90'/1x52'), produced by Gedeon Programmes for France 5, follows bugs. They are vital to life on our planet. And yet, as it stands today, almost 40% of insect species are in danger of extinction. We urgently need to understand how they evolved and to estimate their resilience and adaptation potential. Because, the better we know bugs, the more new information we will gather to help us understand the world we live in and to plan for its futureaccordingly. The Mysterious World of Insects is an investigation; it’s also a worldwide trip through some pretty eye-widening realms, using state-of-the-art technologies and staging lab experiments highlighting the specific bug powers that inspire biomimicry. Last but not least, it’s also a collection of innovative shots and the use of incredibleCGI to reconstruct the world’s oldest insects. In a nutshell, The Mysterious World of Insects provides high educational worth coupled with spectacular cinematography.

 

PEARL HARBOR

Pearl Harbor (1x90') produced by Bonne Pioche for France 2, comes back to the surprise military strike by the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service upon th Unites States on December 7, 1941.
Hawaii. The Pacific Ocean. Picture perfect. Pristine. Cerulean blue. And yet, 80 years ago, this idyllic setting was the site of one of World II's most memorable battles. On December 7, 1941 at 7:53 A.M., a japanese air squadron attacked the american fleet anchored in the waters of Pearl Harbor. The United States and its defensive strategy were struck right at the core. The attack was a major turning point. The very next day, the U.Sw officially entered the war, ending their policy of isolationism and taking the conflict to a whole new and truly global level.
How did Pearl Harbor change the face of WWII and, in turn, that of the world? Why Did Roosevelt label it a "day of infamy"? Was it really a victory for Japan? What was the diplomatic background of Pearl Harbor? Was the attack truly a surprise?

How did Hubble gradually become not just a machine but a link, connecting us to the Universe And how has it changed the way we look at the cosmos? Discover the story of Hubble’s genesis and 30 years of life in space. This biopic-like docufilm is the story of a «modern hero» who, despite all the obstacles in its path, succeeds in its quest for knowledge. And in order to allow that to happen, it has been treated, rescued and repaired several times by human intervention.

The Ana Pumpkin series, (52x5'), produced by Folimage / Les Armateurs, introduces us to the world of a little girl of five years old and her everyday adventures. With the help of her loving, confident family, Ana explores the world around her in her own way, full of joy and curiosity, even if she sometimes finds out that her way is not always the best. In any case, she never gives up and always follows up on her ideas, even the strangest ones! She and her inseparable companion, Buddy the dog, are always there for each other and share everything. As with all best friends forever, they have their squabbles and disagreements, but there is generally a great deal of understanding, laughter, affection, humor and love between them.

 

DISCO DRAGON

This feel-good series currently in development (52x13') is produced by Mondo TV. It stars Disco and Betty, a hilarious musical duo who have decided their mission in life is to help every child find their Groove!

Grooville is the home of Disco, a dragon who’s crazy about music. A dragon?! Well, yes… but one who can hear each child’s inner groove. When one of those little soundtracks goes off the rails, Disco gets edgy! It’s an alarm signal meaning a child needs help. On his missions, Disco can count on the help of his little neighbor, Betty, a music-mad hothead like him. The highly ingenious girl has an answer to every problem and sets the tempo. Betty’s high spirits and Disco Dragon’s awkwardness lead to some unlikely situations… and plenty of confusion! But a confusion that helps each child to work out how to find the harmony in their inner sounds. And that really is groovy!
